Vicar, Holy Cross Woodingdean

Helen has served as Vicar of the Church of the Holy Cross in Woodingdean for the past nine years and has lived in Brighton since 1988, valuing the city’s cultural and faith diversity. She has also worked as a hospital chaplain alongside people of all faiths and has been a member of the Chichester Diocese Interfaith Group with Bishop Laurie Green.

Helen has a longstanding commitment to interfaith work, collaborating with people of other faiths in her parish community. She has served as the Church of England representative on SACRE and as a school governor at Woodingdean School. She is a strong advocate for faith in action and for cooperation between different faith communities.
