Wednesday 12 November 2025 – Sussex Surplus Creates Community
Time: 6:00–8:00 pm

Event description: Gather “Together at the Table” to enjoy delicious, professionally cooked community meals made from surplus seasonal food. Share stories, conversation, and connection over a two-course vegetarian meal and botanical beverage.

Saturday 15th November - Peace Community Centre & Mosque – Community Open Day
Time: From 3 PM onwards

The Peace Community Centre & Mosque warmly invites everyone to its Community Open Day — an opportunity to learn more about the mosque, meet the people behind it, and enjoy a welcoming afternoon together.
What to Expect
- Guided mosque tour – explore the mosque and learn about its role in the community.
- Meet the Imams and volunteers – get to know the dedicated team who help run the centre.
- Exhibitions and Q&A sessions – discover more about Islamic culture and faith, and ask any questions you may have.

Sunday 16 November 2025 – Annual Interfaith Service: Nurturing Peace
Time: 3:00 pm

Hosted by: Brighton & Hove Interfaith Contact Group
Event description: Join us for the City of Brighton and Hove’s Annual Interfaith Service — a heartfelt celebration of the city’s welcoming, inclusive interfaith spirit.
This year’s theme is “Nurturing Peace.” Featuring contributions from The Mayor of Brighton and Hove, Cllr Amanda Grimshaw, Brighton Pavilion MP, Sian Berry, reading the poetry of Mary Oliver
Music by Vocal Explosion. After the service, stay for tea, cakes, and warm conversation.
