The Foundations awards funding for charitable purposes across the UK. Their focus is on funding specific groups that experience marginalisation and/or discrimination and are funding BHFA to work with faith groups so they can learn to be and register as places of sanctuary.

Brighton & Hove City Council

Brighton and Hove City Council have contracted BHFA to deliver the Faith Partnership as part of its Third Sector Improvement Programme (TSIP), which runs from 2020-2023. BHFA delivers the Faith Council and develops faith partnerships through this funding stream. Funds have also been made available from the Collaboration Fund for the Combating Faith Hate Partnership. In 2021, the City Council awarded further funding to BHFA to build capacity within the diverse faith communities to undertake social prescribing using members of the faith community to act as social prescribing champions
