The current Church of the Holy Cross was built in 1968 to a design of architect J Wells-Thorpe. It is the Parish Church of Woodingdean and is the only Church of England Church in Woodingdean which has a population of around 10,000 people.
It is a light,open-plan church that is connected by sliding partition doors to the Parish Room which is available for hire, There is a kitchen with full facilities and serving hatches open to the Parish Room.
