Celebrating Faith in our Community, making connections, promoting partnership
18th November 2-7pm
The Brighton Centre
This event has been organised by a small group of faith organisations, working with the Interfaith Contact Group, the Health and Social Care Faith Forum and Community Works.
Its purpose is to recognise and celebrate the wealth of work currently delivered by faith groups in the city and explore the potential for increased partnership working, sharing expertise and resources.
We would love for you to be part of this celebration and invite you to extend this invitation to others in your organisation/group/community.
The event is open to anyone with an interest in the work of faith groups in our city, including faith leaders, representatives of faith projects and groups, voluntary and community organisations, commissioners, statutory service managers and city leaders.
If you’ve an interest in working collaboratively with others to further the amazing community action achieved by faith groups in the city, then please come along to share your ideas, experience and thoughts as to how we could achieve more together. Everyone is welcome.
If you’re in a faith group – we are looking for volunteers willing to be part of an interactive marketplace and a Human Library. This will provide a safe space where participants will be able to talk with and learn from individuals who adhere to different faiths, to open up understanding and build dialogue. Please get in touch if you or colleagues/friends would be able to help with this aspect of the event.

I very much hope you can join us and do get in touch with any queries you may have.
